Teresa and Amalia met in their children’s school playground in 2005 and this is where they hold their executive meetings. To date they have written Dads and Other Strange Beasts and My Collection although they have many more projects in the pipeline.
I am from Poble Sec in Barcelona. I have worked as an illustrator for twenty years and I love my work. I use the computer a lot but more and more I find myself drawn to using my hands and other materials.
I grew up in a neighbourhood in the west of London where I played with my sister and a gang of other kids out on the street. When I was 18, I packed my bags and went to live in Liverpool where I took Hispanic Studies. Six years later, I packed my bags again and set up home in Barcelona where I began work as a translator and English teacher.
Teresa and I met in the playground of our children’s school and this is where we hold our executive meetings. To date we have written Dads and Other Strange Beasts and My Collection but we have many other projects on the go. Our books are published by Cruïlla and our texts are corrected by Sílvia Farrés, a big thank you to both.
